iOS Drag & Drop

drag-drop-thumb-2iOS Drag & Drop example is written in Objective-C and Swift 2.0. The idea is to perform an action once the circle is dragged and dropped into the goal area. If the circle is not dropped on the goal it’s returned to the starting position with animation. Pan gestures are accepted over the entire view, but the circle is constrained to the dragging area subview.

Sample iOS project is available on GitHub:

  1. Any chance of some more documentation on this? I’m new to Swift and UIKit and hoping to implement drag and drop on a project, but it’s not obvious how to adapt your work to cases other than dragging a dot into a circle.
